Sandra Frankel

Sandy was such a special person. We were friends in Jeffrey Manor, when our children were all tots, and we “koffee klatched” together while they played. We grew apart after our children were grown, but we called each other every once-in-a-while, and continued our long-ago conversations. I’m sure Sandy’s children remember (or are possibly still eating on) the Starburst dishes that we shared. I finally gave all mine to Sandy and Bob, and our last conversation centered on the prices they were going for at the antique stores.

Sandy had a small house, three kids, a terrific husband, and the best and sunniest disposition of anyone I knew. The years we shared were so special – may those memories, and Sandy’s memory, be a blessing to her family and all who remember her.

The Orlando Hara family extends its love and sympathy to Sandra’s family. Sandy was a very special cousin-loving, energetic, and giving. I regret that the miles and years kept us from being as close as we were when living in Chicago. Sandy carried on her parents’ tradition of keeping family close. Her beloved Bob is a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. We know that you will stay close with him. May G-d bless the Frankel family with comfort during these difficult days.
