Tia Chata embodied kindness and love. I cherish the memories of her visit, staying with my grandparents, Ricardo and Sonia. Witnessing their bond was truly special—they shared immense love. She always spoke with such admiration about her children, grandchildren, and late husband. Her love ran deep, touching the lives of those she cherished with profound affection. I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with her; her presence illuminated the world and she will be deeply missed.

With love and remembrance – I share your sorrow.
Tia was a wonderful person – her greatest joy was her family and their well being.
I still see her smile and dancing with Mike in New Year. It was so cute – when Tia liked something her favorite saying was, ” That’s good stuff.”. She use to make me smile every time she said that.
Love You Tia

My Tia Chata had a wonderful spirit. She is now with uncle Fred and Linda who loved her so very much. Her life has come to an end but her spirit will live on in all of us. She has left a beautiful family who are a testament to her life well lived. My heart goes out to the Dominguez and Jones family. We will miss the stories you would tell and the way they always seemed to come to life when you told them. Your good humor and kindness will be sorely missed.

I had very little contact with Aunt Chata but my heart goes out to Michael. I pray that the Lord’s comfort may flood his life with peace and joy, same as that of all the family.

The only time that I can remember is the time the whole family came to visit us in our home in Anaheim.

Granny has always been very loving and caring to all of her family. Some of my earliest memories with Granny is her turning on the TV and playing her Salsa dancing VHS tape. Together we would dance along having so much fun in her bedroom! We also loved to get a comfy pillow and take afternoon naps on the living room floor. Granny loved walking outside and we would always walk to the park. She always made sure everyone was well fed and enjoyed caring for all of us! These are some of my favorite childhood memories. ❤️
Not only did she have a big part of my upbringing as a child but even when Angela was born she got to help raise her great-granddaughter as well. They loved to play together by throwing the ball to each other and hanging out at the park. Angela’s favorite foods she would make her is her potato salad or her green bean supreme salad!
Words can not describe how incredibly grateful I am to have her as my Grandmother and how much I love her with all my heart. Her incredible life and love she shared with everyone will continue to live on with all of us. I am honored to have such an incredibly strong, loving, caring, thoughtful, beautiful, and intelligent role model as my Abuelita. ❤️

My memories of my sister Rosa are so many that it is difficult to write one paragraph about
I remember my sister taking care of me. We used to play together as if we were movie stars. We played the piano together, danced together, and acted as if we were trapeze artists from the circus, these were wonderful times.
When my sister was older she went to study in another city, I missed her dearly. Then she moved to the United States and fell in love with Fred Dominguez, the love of her life. We were all very happy for Rosita.
When I came to the United States we stayed with my sister for a month, she was so kind to welcome us into her home. After we found an apartment we would visit my sister, Fred and his mother and father. Fred’s parents were so kind: we loved to spend time with them.
When we moved to California my sister always tried to keep in touch with me. We would spend time talking on the phone and reminiscing about our childhood and sharing stories about our children.
After my brother-in-law Fred and niece Linda passed away Rosita came to stay with us in California. We were able to have quality time once again; like we did when we were children. Rosa would come back from visiting her son Mike and his children and shared how proud she was of him and his wife and how they brought up two beautiful, kind and well mannered children. I wanted her to stay with us longer but she was missing her family and home in Chicago. We would keep in touch until the day she passed. I will miss my sister and keep her in my heart and mind until the day that we meet again. Although my heart may break I know that my sister is resting in peace with our loved ones in heaven.

When I was little, I remember Tia Rosa visiting the family. I just thought that she was so pretty and sweet. When she talked to me I could feel how much she cared, it filled my heart with love. I felt so lucky to have such a wonderful Tia.
My last memories were when she came to visit us before dad passed away. Tia Rosa, mom, dad and I couldn’t stop laughing about their childhood escapades. I had a great time hearing all their stories. We were very blessed to have been able to share time with her. Those are great memories that I will never forget.
I would like to give my condolences to all of Tia Rosa’s family. May you be given the strength that you may all need during these trying times.
May tia Rosa rest in peace in God’s loving embrace.
