Shalom Memorial response to COVID-19

Socially responsible funeral and burial services in light of COVID-19

To Our Shalom Community, Family, and Friends:

The staff of Shalom Memorial Park and Funeral Home want you to know that we are always here to help you.  During times of loss, we find comfort and strength by coming together and supporting one another.  While at this time we must make an effort to keep ourselves apart physically, we must make an extra effort to find ways to come together and provide emotional comfort and support.

We are dedicated to protecting the wellbeing of our community while providing funeral and burial services in a respectful and dignified manner in keeping with health authority guidelines.

We are deeply committed to our social responsibility and, at this time, outdoor graveside services are limited to graveside ceremonies of fifty people.  Tents are again being placed at each graveside and participation in the act of burial with the placement of earth into the grave is once again being allowed.

The Shalom Memorial Funeral Home chapel is now open for indoor services. Indoor services are limited to twenty-five mourners.

Our family service counselors are available to you.  We encourage you to call or email with questions and reach out to us at any time. We want to assure you that we are here to help.

Please join us as we pray for families and individuals facing illness and for the welfare of our entire community.
