Obituary

Harriet Schacter, age 87, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on June 28, 2013. Born 10/15/1925 in Hopkinsville, KY to parents Abraham and Sarah Arkovitz; Married to husband David for over 70 wonderful years; a good friend to many in the Chicago and Scottsdale area, avid Mah Jong player, active member of B’Nai Brith since 1949, including lodge President 1966-1967 and chapter delegate; actress, singer, dancer and musician in over 35 musical productions Survived by her husband David (Scottsdale);: Children Jerry and wife Diane; Stacey and wife Susan; grandchildren Melissa Schacter-English and husband Sam, Eric, Daniel, Stacia and Brianna; great-grandchildren Abigail and Noah. Graveside service and interment at Shalom Memorial Park 1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL on Wednesday, July 3, at 12:00 Noon. Contribution may be made to Anti-Defamation League, 1 E Camelback Road, Suite 670 Phoenix Arizona 85012, or at www.adl.org.
