Recently, I was very fortunate to have been in Chicago for just a few days and to had a chance see my Aunt Donna;to thank her in person for all she did for me. If not for my Aunt Donna ( and her sister Pat), I would have next to no childhood memories. My Aunt Donna would take me to KiddyLand as a small child and allow me to enjoy being just that, a kid.
If not for my Aunt Donna, I may not have had the courage to takes the risks in life that I have. She was a strong woman and I learned a lot from her. On many occasions, she would remind me, ‘ You did it honey; you did it all by yourself’. I will miss my Aunt Donna but I know she is at peace with Uncle Harry, Grampa Maurie, Grandma Silvia, Aunt Hermine, Aunt Silvia, Aunt Shirley and so many others…what a great party they must all be having.
She will be missed and will always will be in my heart. Nancy
