I just came across this as i was searching for something else. We were customers of Mr. Blackmans in 1992. Very kind and sincere man. I grew up in that neighborhood and want to say thank you again. God be with you .

Halstead, where your family had the original store, and our familes carry out restaurant between carpenteer and aberdeen . You move to beverly, and we followed to evergreen park. Ronald my family and I enjoyed coming to visit you in the store, along with Alan and family . Our memories , great conversations, Love and Friendships, our family stories, If my memory does me any justice, I believe we each were very proud of our set of twins . Thank you Ron and family, We will miss you dearly my friend .

We so enjoyed when Ronnie would accompany Marylee to her dental appointments and felt honored that he would entrust his entire family to our care…What a sweet man and attentive husband and father! He will be sorely missed by everyone whose life he touched in our office, especially that of mine(Laurie) and my father!! Our warmest sympathy and prayers go out to you all <3
