Sharon Polisky nee Berliner, 71; beloved wife for over 50 years of Earl; loving mother of Jeffrey, Michael (Liz) and Jennifer (John Leichenko); proud grandma of Mia, Anna and Sam; dear sister of Fran (Fred) Hakimian; treasured aunt and friend of many. Chapel service Sunday, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I don't know where to begin. I know the pain Pam and I feel and it pails in comparison to what the entire Polisky family is going through. I'm so sorry that we are away and could not attend the service. I will remember Sharon for her devotion to her family and her love for Earl. You were always an example to us of what a strong and loving marriage should be. I will remember our crazy camping trips and our Cub games. I will miss you so very much that I can't begin to put it in words. All I can say is "My Heart Hurts".

Sharon and family: I am so grateful for your dedication and service to our Kindergarten children during the time we worked together and beyond the years I worked at Hawthorn. Both Sharon and Earl are great pranksters, but it is the sweet innocent Sharon that was often the instigator with Earl getting caught.
Sharon had a beautiful spirit, her love for her family, friends, and for God's other creatures was unwavering.
Our lives are dimmer without her beautiful spirit here on Earth.
