Obituary

Richard S. Goldstein, 72, beloved husband and best friend of Barbara, nee Emery, for 32 wonderful years; loving father of Joshua, Kathryn and Jeremy; devoted son of the late June and Harold Goldstein and son-in-law of Barbara Emery; dear brother of Loren Goldstein and Linda (Joseph) Sherwood and brother-in-law of Jack (Maryann) Emery, David (Ann) Emery and Paul Emery; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Richard was a lifelong resident of the Chicagoland area, graduating from Evanston High school and continuing his education on to receive his Master’s Degree in Business from the University of Chicago. Richard was an active and proud member of the MDNA, co-owner of Cadillac Machinery and later became president of Machinery Trading, LLC. Richard lived a full life of integrity and generosity. He had a passion for travel and did so extensively with his wife and family. Chapel service Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
