Robert Alex Sutherlin, 68, beloved husband of Janice nee Goldberg for 18 years; loving father of Scott Douglas, Lisa (Chad) Krueger, Kari (Martin) Cohan, Ross (Charmagne) Sutherlin and Harlan Douglas; devoted Papa Rob of Ethan, Alex, Henry, Nolan and Aviana; dear brother of Nancy (the late Michael) Stalcup; many loving nieces and nephews. Chapel service, Thursday, 2:45 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Public visitation beginning at 1:45 PM, 1 hour prior to service. Interment immediately following the service at Randhill Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Orphans of the Storm would be appreciated.
