Obituary

Joel Karp, 67, beloved husband of Bronda nee Kozer for 12 years; loving father of Zack (Linda) Karp, Julie (Rick) Gard and stepfather of Lisa (Bob) Wiencek; adoring Zadie of Joey, Viviana, Sami, Rachel, Alexa, Paige and Matthew; dear brother of Michael and Marty (Nancy) Karp; fond nephew of Stanley Turner; many loving nieces and nephews. Joel was born in Chicago and raised in Skokie, graduating from Niles North High School in 1968. Most of his career was spent in the printing industry. More than anything, Joel over spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Memorial Service, Friday 12 Noon at Congregation Solel, 1301 Clavey Road, Highland Park. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Blackhawk Council, Boy Scouts of America, www.blackhawkscouting.org or the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
