Kenneth Fisher, 75; beloved husband of Frances nee Harris; loving father of Hillary (Jon) Morris, Larry (Jenny) Fisher, Michael Fisher, Marc (Nancy) Sharfman and Deborah (Marc) Siegel; proud and adoring Papa of Shaina (Avi) Herring, Jeremy Siegel, David (Krystal) and Brittany Sharfman, Carly, Brady and Jessie Fisher, Taylor, Harper and Hunter Morris and great-Papa of Noam Herring; dear brother of Barry (Sheri) Fisher and Nancy Fisher; treasured friend of many. Ken was a very successful lawyer, LOVED the excitement of life including horse racing, casinos, the Cubs (especially last year), traveling and most importantly people – in particular, his children, grandchildren and great grandson. Chapel service Sunday, 2:30 pm at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Fran, Mike, Larry, Hillary, Barry and Nancy,

It pains me to be unable to be there to say goodbye to my friend of 63 years. I looked up our grammar school yearbook, and he signed it “your pal, Ken.” He certainly has been for all this time. Unfortunately, geography has made our recent contacts less frequent than I would have liked. Memories? More than I could count. A few: A camping trip (my only one ever) with Joe Kotler and Herb Behrstock to Northern Minnesota when we were about 15. A road trip to the West Coast with Joe between high school and college. Weddings. Occasional trips to the Winner’s Circle in Arlington Heights and New Orleans. Many, many, many more. I’ll miss my pal. My sincere condolences to you all.

Lot’s of them, but the one that is a standout is when we presented Ken with a “SPECIAL AIRLINE PREPARED MEAL” at our daughters wedding. His shock, surprise and good natured response were priceless. Thanks for the memories.
