Obituary

Barrie H. Miller, 82, passed away March 13. He was a leading sales representative in the food service industry. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Evalyn R. Ashmore; his loving children, Leslie (John) O’Flahavan, their children, Linnae and Paige and granddaughter Natalia; Carolyn Miller (Mark Clearwater); loving stepchildren Kimberly Sue (Dougal) Brindley and their children, Luke and John; and Eric Anderson and his children, Margaret, Hannah, Avery, Jillian, Parker and Samuel; devoted nephew Leonard (Judy) Seltzer; and predeceased by his beloved wife Jacqueline nee Schnee. Memorial Service, Sunday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Randhill Park Cemetery. Evalyn and Family,
I remember the first time I met Barrie. Evalyn and I were doing a Showcase house and Barrie came to see my room. In walked this dashing, handsome man with a smile from ear to ear. He was so kind and sweet to me. We went out a few times as couples, and I could see how much he loved Evalyn. My heart is heavy with sadness for the whole family,
and we send our love and prayers. I am sorry I can’t be at the funeral as we are out of the country.
