Mrs Lauwasser (I could never call her Bernice even though she said I should) was like a second mom to me. I spent days and days at her home. She always treated me like a son and made me feel like part of her family. She leaves a legacy of children and family of equally or greater hearts. I mourn her passing but revel in the memories and what she meant to me.
