Obituary
J. Clifford Moos (12-13-1923 - 10-13-2021) beloved and respected husband of the late Naomi "Noni" Moos, nee Leaf, (9-3-1927 - 4-4-1974); proud and loving father of Jane Kayla Moos Cohen (David Cohen), Emily Ann Moos and Joseph Daniel Moos (Jean Saunders); proud grandfather of Jordan Richard Moos, Zak Moos Cohen and Marley Naomi Moos; son of the late Harry and Mary Moos; brother of the late admired A. Jerome (Martha) Moos; longtime close companion of the late Jackie Jaffe. Clifford was a member of AEPi at the University of Illinois, decorated combat 1st Lieutenant WWII veteran in the 8th Army Air Force, co-founder and President in 1954 of Economy Folding Box Corp., longtime avid mediocre golfer and longtime contributor to many philanthropies. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thresholds at www.thresholds.org. Private graveside service. Shiva will be held Friday from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, Glencoe. Vaccination and masks required to attend Shiva. Condolences from my family here in Fredericton. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to meet your father. He was a remarkable man. He did a lot in his life for others starting with his war service.

Clifford was always open and honest some would even say opinionated. He loved political sparing. He was a man with many wonderful stories of his adventures throughout a long well lived life. Someone I admired and looked up to, which is a rare commodity these days. He will truly be missed by me and our families.
My love and sympathies go out to all of his family, you will always have good memories of a great man.

I was privileged to be married to his late nephew, Ronald. I can honestly say he was one of kindest, smartest and most generous men I have ever known. My heartfelt condolences to Jane, Joe and Emmy.
