Joyce and I were friendly when we lived in Rogers Park and our friendship grew when she and her family lived in Des Plaines. Our girls are about the same age which made it nice when we went to visit. However we became a little closer when we moved to Saddlebrook. We often went out to funny talkative dinners and really enjoyed ourselves. She will be missed.

Joyce and I became good friends when we worked a JCPENNYS IN Vernon Hills,Il. She moved in to SADDLRBROOK FARMS 55 and over community and found a house for me
across the street and we continued our friendship another ten years. I will miss her very much.

Thank you, Joyce, for the joy for life that you shared with everyone! You embraced me with that same joy when I became part of the family, married to Sharyl, for which I am so very grateful. I will always remember the presence of fun when you were in a family gathering and how you cared for each one.

We are already missing the laughter and fun we’ve had together. We enjoyed all the back and forth “banter” we had, looking for new places to eat breakfast and dinners through the years. Rest comfortably, Joyce.

Joyce was my older cousin, on my mother Ardella’s side of the family. Joyce was there for me always and played a very important part in my life for many, many years, as did Rita. For a while we didn’t talk as much as we did in the past. I remember once we had a 2 hour conversation in the last year or so. She told my brother Bobby last week that I could call, but not talk for very long. I called on Monday or Tuesday and she wasn’t able to talk then. At least I was able to her voice one last time. Joyce, I have always loved and you have always had a place in my heart and always will. Love, Rhona

I will always remember Cousin Joyce for her smile, laughter, fabulous sense of humor and most of all, her sassy and mischevious (albeit feigning her innocence) personality. I enjoyed visits with both Joyce and Jim at my parents home and chatting about all kinds of things. She was deeply loved by all of us and I will miss her dearly. May her beautiful memory be for a blessing.

I loved getting together with Joyce and playing cared and eating! She was always so witty and made me laugh. Years back, we had season tickets to the opera one year which I will always remember.
The service was beautiful today.
