Every summer I looked forward to seeing Marcia at Twin. You could always count on Marcia for a ready smile, quick wit and always always a good laugh. She called me “her young friend” and she will truly be missed. Randy and I send our deepest condolences during this incredibly painful and difficult time.

I met Mrs. Block when I moved out to Rancho Mirage and worked at Mission Hills Country Club. Her and I immediately clicked as she found out I was a young Jewish boy from Glenview. I use to go visit her and Leonard at their house, we’d have dinner and laugh at things only Mrs. Block could make funny. She loved my wife, called me one of her children and was there when I got married to my wife. We had lunch right before the pandemic and I visited her at the Vi durning the summer… she never stopped making me laugh! We kept in touch and the last time we talked in February she told me how proud she was of all I’ve accomplished. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed!

I knew Marcia Block for a long time at Twin Orchard. Every time I saw her she had that cute smile and always ready to have a chit chat with me to discuss life and our families. She was a wonderful woman and I will miss her!
