Dear Steve, Katie, Rich, Stefanie, Kori, Bob, Manny and Toby,
We send you all our love and heartfelt condolences. It’s been said over and over but I need to say it again. Paula was so lovely, sweet, kind, gentle. Yet she had a fierce zest for life. Respected in all her businesses, and loved by all who knew her, including me. She is now in the loving hands of her beloved dad and mom. All laughing together with my dad and mom and the rest of the “green horns”. May Paula’s memory be a comfort and blessing to all. ❤

One time, I was at Target with Richard and we ran into your mom and dad. I was carrying a side sleeper pillow that I had intended to buy and Paula saw it and said that she had bought the same one, but it wasn’t working for her. She said she’d give it to Richard to give to me. Next time I had lunch with Richard, he had the pillow for me. I only met Paula a handful of times, but I could tell she was a mama bear and that she had a lot of personality. Katie, please know that I’m keeping you, your sisters and dad in my thoughts. I’m so very sorry for your loss.

Paula and Steve took me on as a babysitter when I was in high school, and I think let me hang out a bit more than I needed to. They made me feel like family. It was an awkward and confusing time in my life, but they offered me their acceptance, warmth, laughter, and guidance. I am so grateful for Paula’s gracious spirit, I do not know where I’d be today without it. I will miss her deeply.
