Obituary
Elaine Workman Perlman, nee Mitchell, 88, beloved wife and best friend of Marshall Perlman; loving mother of Bonnie (Stewart) King, James Williams (fiancee’ Nanci Burk), Sharon (Paul) McGuire, Linda (Guy) McGinnis, Thomas Williams, Gary (Beth) Perlman, Steven Perlman, Todd (Hali) Perlman, Deborah (Scott) St John and Laura Perlman; cherished grandmother of 18 and adored great grandmother of 5; devoted daughter of the late Blanche and William Mitchell; dear sister of Georgia Harsch and the late Charles (the late Dena) Mitchell; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. Elaine was a graduate of the University of Illinois- college of nursing, and spent most of her life, as a registered nurse, helping others, with loving care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Eulogy at 3:00 PM) at the home of Linda and Guy McGinnis.
