Janelle – You probably don’t remember but my husband and I met you when we attended the opera at Lyric with you and your father many years ago. I believe the opera was Candide. We had met your father previously when he consulted my husband who is a lawyer. We later became friends with him. My husband was a supernumerary at Lyric, and later your father decided to be a supernumerary also. I remember seeing him in Carmen.
Your father had a great sense of humor. We were on his email list for jokes, etc. Some of them he sent were hilarious and I would pass them on to others. In fact, that is how I suddenly realized that we had not received any jokes or photos from him in quite a while. We sent an email asking if he was okay and received no response. That is when we started looking for an obit.
Please accept our condolences. Your father was a great guy.
