Jeffrey was always loving and fun... I remember the glint in his eye when he shared a joke with his cousin, Lee Harris (my deceased husband).

Truly, he will always be with you in your heart and sitting on your shoulder.
Much love and my deepest condolences.

Jamie-our love and thoughts are with you during this very sad and difficult time for your family. As one of your dearest friends, I've had the honor of spending time with you dad since our college years. I've seen the gorgeous smile on his face, heard his sense of humor, and could feel the warmth in his heart for you and all of your family. May you find comfort knowing he lives though you, your stories, and memories. He will forever be in your hearts and be a part of you always. As I've been told, people die, but love doesn't. His love will be with you forever. Love you, Edye and Carl

To Roberta and family,
We are in Mexico but you are in our hearts and smiling with all the memories from when we were such innocent kids growing up. Even though we didn’t see eachother that much as adults, there was always a fondness for eachother even when Jeff needed a favor when Jerry was mayor of Lincolnwood! May peace bring all to you that are mourning and you have blessed memories of the life you shared with a wonderful man.

Love,
Nancy and Jerry

To all of the Shapiro/Shanin Families,

We know this has been such a hard time, and so wish there was not COVID, and we could be there with you today and tonight. But we will be thinking of you and remembering Jeff today. Whenever I (Vicki), was around and your dad came over Jamie, he was always as nice as could be to me...I will always remember that about him. I know you have years and years of wonderful memories with him and adored him as a father, husband, and papa...We are here for you and love you...Vicki and Budd
