Ruth Schaller nee Stein, 97, beloved wife of the late Ralph for 56 years; loving mother of Michael (Joan), Rick (Carolyn) and Howard (Klaudia) Schaller; cherished grandmother of Deborah (Richard) Wallace, Rachel Schaller (Jeremy Chapman), Lisa (Brandon) Boldt and Ben Schaller (Fiance, Tess Hamzeh); adored great grandmother of Alex, Henry and Pearl; dear sister of Harold (life partner, Jennie Elias) and the late Milton (Harriet) Stein; fond sister-in-law of the late Ruth Stein; loving nieces and nephews. Graveside service, Wednesday 2 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Dear Rick and Howard. This is Howie Mogil, one of Bernice Mogil’s sons. I remember you and your wonderful family from the Peterson School neighborhood, and remember how much our mothers enjoyed their friendship together, until Bernice passed in 2006 at age 86.
Sincere condolences to you and your family from me and my wife Vicki, and brothers Barry and Mike. We are sorry for your loss, and hope the memory of your mom and late father will always be a source a strength and peace to you all.
