Gertrude Fox nee Yellin, 95, beloved wife of the late Ted for 60 years; loving mother of Karen Arnold – Hammond (Gerald Hammond) and Andy Fox (Ulrike Giesbert); cherished Grandma of Paul (Sally) Arnold; adored great grandmother of Eleanor and Elizabeth; dear sister of the late Florence Rand; fond mother-in-law of the late Steven Arnold; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside service, Wednesday, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org. Dear Karen, Andy and families,

I miss those days very much, too.

Gert was an important part of my parent’s life.
She had a wonderful, full life and the best care.
A life well-lived! Gert, Ted, Leah and Irv are all together now-
and I’m certain their fun is non-stop!

Sadly, I read Gert’s obituary in the Chicago Tribune.
I have such fond memories of her relationship with my Aunt Leah Miller.
Gert, Ted, Leah and Irv had a special friendship.
I was with Gert on many occasions. I enjoyed hearing of her family.
Please accept my most sincere condolences.
