Obituary

Sarah Borg Marwick (née Tschewik) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away in Johns Creek, Georgia, on September 9, 2022, at age 91. She was born to Aron and Ethel Tschewik on February 16, 1931, in Warsaw, Poland. Her youth was spent running from both Nazi and Soviet genocide and aggression. In 1953 she came to America and met her future husband, Nuta Borg. Together they had two sons, Martin (Helene) and Edward (the late Tina) Borg; cherished grandmother of Danielle, Natalie, Hillary, Michelle, Zachary, Sydney, Alexis, and their spouses and great-grandchildren. Sarah and Nuta worked hard to provide their family a good life and started their own business in 1968. She continued to operate that business after the untimely passing of her husband in 1981 until she retired. Sarah was a 39-year resident of Phoenix, AZ, and ultimately moved to Georgia to live with her youngest son, Edward. She loved to read, walk, cook, and spend time with family and friends. Sarah was always happy to help anyone and would give them anything they needed. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always the life of the party. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org. Graveside service Friday, Sept 16, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
