I will miss Linda in the front at water aerobics. She told great stories from her experiences while we walked or had coffee. In the Spring we sat in the Mall for more than an hour just visiting. I’m so glad I got to meet her. Linda’s kind heart and wit were amazing.

Linda and I met and became friends during her time as a volunteer at the History Museum. When she stepped away from doing history interpretation with school groups, she helped us greet and give way finding to the visitors. Finally, during the pandemic years, Linda assisted me with closing down my office as I prepared for my retirement last spring. She and I had wonderful conversations about Chicago, families, travel, and how to enjoy life and retirement.
I know she adored her grandchildren – they will miss her. Linda was lively, active, generous, and had her opinions! A great lady.
It will be a pleasure to contribute to the museum and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in her memory. My most sincere condolences to her family.
